Communication architect.
1. What do you do in life? How did you get there? What work experiences have brought you here?
I like to call myself an architect of communication because I organize content for various channels,in television, radio or web. I worked as a TV author for Mediaset, Rai, MTV and Sky, I was a speaker at Rock Fm and I am a bodily mediation counselor
2. What was your greatest job satisfaction?
At the moment the format “33 giri Italian masters” because I thought about it a long time ago and, having found the right interlocutors, who have had more or less the same idea, iy has meant that after almost two years since we said we would could do it, we managed to make the first series and send it on the air with excellent feedback.
3. You are tv & web author, speaker, musician, producer and dj. On which activity do you plan to focus your future? And which one are you neglecting?
On what will be able to include them all as much as possible, because this is my bet in the definition “communication architect”
4. The best guitarist of all time?
My favorite is Jimmy Page
5. Close your eyes and imagine you’re in the audience of a huge concert. What song is starting?
The Weight: the Band reunited with Aretha Frankln special guest at Glastombury is playing it
6. What do you think of current music and new musical genres so popular (for example the trap)?
That they are for today’s young people just as punk was for our older cousins and the Beastie Boys and Guns n Roses for me.
7. Your thoughts on talent shows? Pro or against?
Talent shows are like the festival of sanremo: television programs; they make entertainment despite someone say that music on TV does not work. They are pro because they raise the topic “music”.
8. I always ask this question but I know it will be more difficult for you to answer so instead of 3, I make an exception to the rule and arrive at 5 … The 5 favorite songs?
I tell you what now comes to mind:
1) Beastie Boys – An open letter to NYC
2) Lucio Dalla – The puppy Alfredo
3) Iron Maiden – Aces High
4) The Animals – The House of the rising sun
5) Guns n Roses – Coma
9. Your dream?
Have the cervical and the mouth of the stomach relaxing
10. Do you think the world can be saved? What should every single person do to make our planet a better place?
I think the planet knows how to get along very well without us and therefore we are the ones in danger. Perhaps we should start to have more awareness of what we really need. Every single person could take a journey of self-discovery. He would automatically end up respecting the environment in which he lives and the people he has next to, because I agree with those who say that in reality we are all part of a single system.
11. Any books you would recommend?
A light stuff that can make you think: Stories for girls and boys who want to save the world of Carola Benedetto and Luciana Ciliento
12. Over the years you have got to know and work with many people (famous and not). Which person surprised you the most and with whom would you like to work again?
Lucio Dalla, but I never knew him.
13. Which sentence do you think reflects you the best?
When you are born you are afraid of the darkness
And then you’re afraid of the light
But I’m not afraid when I dance with my shadow
Taste of India of Aerosmith. My life turned when I started to talk to my shadow and this sentence resounded years later.
14. What do you think about the current political situation in Italy?
There’s no difference from the previous one. I see men of marketing, who call themselves politicians, who exploit information with much more attention to communication than to politics. If we changed ourselves, the managerial class would also change, but world people still do not understand it and continue to be subdued by a few people from centuries and centuries.
15. What is the thing that makes you more angry?
The exploitation of every fact, the many wasted energies, the fact that others decide my style and standard of living.
16. Which do you think are the most important qualities to succeed in life? An advice to succeed?
It depends on what you mean by “succeed”. Kurt Cobain was successful because he sold millions of records or he was a failure because he couldn’t resist his life? To be successful, for the concept I have, I think you need to be a good compromise between what you want to be, what you are and what you can become.
17. What do you think about in the evening, before falling asleep?
How to fall asleep. I suffered a lot from insomnia, I try to take good breaths and not get caught up in thoughts, because that is the time of the paranoia and I learned that it is better not to make them explode delegating them the next day.
18. If you could talk for an hour with someone (alive or dead) who would you choose and what would you like to talk about?
Good question. With my great paternal grandfather, I would interview him about himself to understand more about me.
19. The music market has changed profoundly. No one buys CDs and everything is on streaming. What do you think about it? Once when an album or video was released it was an event, now everything is different. You can have access to a virtually unlimited amount of material! Do you think it’s positive or not?
When you say, “watch what you ask, you may risk getting it.” We’ve wanted it since the days of my space. Yes, I think it’s positive, I didn’t like the fact that, to listen a song, I had to wait for the tv video or wait the 45 rpm disk. I love listening to music, not courting it. Now there is more competition, so the artists must do their job: epic records today and we will become attached like we did in the past!
20. TV has changed too. What aspects of this change do you like and what do you hate?
I like that there is more supply, I hate the performance anxiety that permeates it behind the scenes.
21. TV series absolutely “must see” in your opinion?
I’m not a big fan of tv series. My favorite of the 80s was Hazard. The best soundtrack in my opinion is the soundtrack of the first “true detective”, then I don’t know. For a few years I’ve been trying to stay away from addictions. And then, did you notice? They all make you have strange dreams.
22. Is rock alive or dead?
Already alive, it is only changing his skin; it only is so fond of the first record of all the great bands of the past so it will take a little longer before it goes back to screaming properly.
23. Where do you go when you need to be at peace with yourself?
I drive or walk in the mountains.
24. The best love song ever?
A harsh admission by a woman in love with a man is not exactly a saint. With a touch of irony.
Aretha Franklin – I Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You
25. How do you imagine yourself in 20 years?
Living would be a nice goal, more and more grizzled with a few kilometers less per year.
